3a. How We Use Inspection Data

We may use information submitted through Himmdale Pro, including inspection photos, inspection results, property information, reports, feedback, survey responses, usage information, device information, and related metadata, for the following purposes:

  • To provide AI-assisted inspection review and report generation.
  • To create, save, export, and manage inspection-style reports.
  • To operate, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, test, evaluate, and improve the platform.
  • To improve AI-assisted image review, visible concern identification, confidence scoring, severity and priority scoring, reporting quality, reliability, and user experience.
  • To respond to support requests and user feedback.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not intend to sell user-submitted inspection photos or inspection reports to third-party advertisers. Where possible, we may use de-identification, aggregation, access controls, and security measures to reduce privacy risk while improving the platform.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We use trusted third-party providers to operate our platform, including cloud infrastructure, database hosting, AI processing, and analytics services. These providers access data only as necessary to perform their contracted services and are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.

5. Data Security

All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. We implement industry-standard security controls including access controls, encrypted storage, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take commercially reasonable steps to protect your data.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your account and data at any time via the Settings page. Certain data may be retained for legal compliance purposes after deletion.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access a copy of your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Request deletion of submitted images
  • Object to certain processing of your data
  • Port your data to another platform
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

Users may request deletion of submitted inspection images, account information, or associated data by using the privacy controls in the app or contacting contact@himmdalepro.com. Some information may be retained where necessary for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, backups, or legitimate business records.

To exercise your rights, use the Data Rights section in your Settings, or contact us at contact@himmdalepro.com.

8. Device Permissions and Hardware Access

Himmdale Pro requests access to certain device features to support inspection and reporting workflows. Permissions are requested at the time of use — not in advance — and are never required to access the platform.

  • Camera: Accessed only when you tap "Take Inspection Photo." Used to capture inspection images for AI analysis. Never accessed in the background.
  • Photo Library / File Upload: Accessed only when you tap "Upload Photo." Used to select existing property images for analysis and reports.
  • Location: Accessed only when you enable location tagging for an inspection. Used to record GPS coordinates for property records. Optional and off by default.
  • Microphone: Accessed only if you enable voice notes or voice-guided inspection features. Optional. The platform operates fully without microphone access.
  • Storage / Downloads: Used only when you choose to download inspection reports or export data. Handled by your browser's standard download mechanism.

Device permissions are used only to support inspection, reporting, and platform functionality. Himmdale Pro does not access your camera, microphone, location, or files unless you choose to use a feature that requires them.

You may review or revoke permissions at any time through your browser settings or device operating system settings. Revoking a permission may disable specific features but will not affect access to the platform overall.

10. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies for session authentication and security. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Analytics data is collected to improve platform performance.

11. Children's Privacy

Himmdale Pro is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-platform notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
